Pretty awesome - a particle collider was started up today in Geneva that will hopefully be able to test whether the Big Bang Theory actually happened like science currently thinks it will. They'll be doing lots of other experiments as well, including looking for the "God Particle" (see the second link). http://public.web.cern.ch/public/en/LHC/LHC-en.html
